Very nice campground. Pull thru-sites were level with 50 amps, and we enjoyed excellent, free Wi-Fi. Manager was very friendly and accommodating. Only real downside was Lavender Road access street to the campground was paved but narrow and bumpy. We would definitely stay here again
This was the most disgusting campsite I have ever stayed in. The permanent residents in the next site had allowed their large dog to use our site as it's bathroom. Large dog droppings were everywhere. Why would the owner assign anyone to this particular site? Ruined our entire perspective of this RV park and owner. We will never stay here again.
As others have stated, this is a very basic campground. Just a grassy field with basic hook-ups. The clerk at the gas station was very rude and told us they were still charging the higher winter rates even though we were here in May. Sad they need to resort to these tactics to gouge a few more dollars from tired travelers. We would not stay here again.
The park is under new ownership and the campground has suffered as a result. It is now known as the Lakeland Carefree RV Resort. No more free WiFi. They use a pricey commercial WiFi provider. My reservation deposit was immediately charged to my credit card. Very few campgrounds do this. Fire ants are everywhere. There were at least 30 mounds on our assigned campsite. I informed the CG manager and she handed me a card for a commercial exterminator who will spray your campsite for $25. We have been going to this campground for over 10 years but don't think we will return again.
This has to be one of the worst parks I have stayed in during 35 years of camping. The campground is heavily wooded with a lot of low hanging branches. The first site we were assigned to was on a narrow road that I first thought was a bike path. We finally squeezed into the site only to find we couldn't extend the slideouts. The next site assigned to us was better. The patio appeared to be the slab from an old mobile home. We returned to the campground on our second day only to find the sewer system had backed up onto our site and raw sewage was everywhere. The employees threw a little lime on the campsite and said that will fix the problem and we said no way and requested another campsite. The third site assigned to us actually had a concrete pad. We had an appointment at Lazy Days to have our motor home serviced and told the manager we would be gone for the day and would leave a note on the picnic table plus we left our water hookup in place. Upon returning later in the day we found a motor home on our campsite. We went to the manager and she said we would have to look for another site with no explanation for her actions. There were no open acceptable sites( it had rained during the day and much of the campground was flooded) so we went to the manager and asked for a refund. She said they have a policy of no refunds. All in all it was a horrible experience. I would not recommend this campground to anyone.
